Houston, we have testicles!

Apparently the pediatrician was wrong. So was the ultrasound. I learned a lot about how testicles work today. I am a girl, what do I really need to know about testicles.

The urologist said that ordering an ultrasound to check for undescended testicles is stupid. You come at the kid with a cold probe, in a cool room, with his pants down and the testicles retract. I knew about testicles retracting. The old cold water joke and all.

We thought his testicles had dropped, but took the pediatrician at her word. I am glad that she is thorough, but you would think that she would know a little bit about this. Maybe he wasn't on the ball the day she checked him. (Sorry, couldn't resist the bad pun)

So, there will be no nuts for Christmas this year. He already has them.

You can always tell when they take a warm bath. Should have thought to suggest that to you, duh!!!

Well, it's an early merry Christmas I suppose!

We are so thrilled.

I checked while we were in the bath and felt them. I figured that's what they were, but then the pediatrician told us differently. I thought maybe I was missing something. Nope, maybe our pediatrician has cold hands.

This is good news for me as I can now get new glasses. No more driving with one hand over an eye because the lens popped out. I was going to wait until the new year because a surgery would empty out our flexible spending account. Now I don't have to.

You didn't tell me about the glasses. So, glad you can get new ones.

Man, I'm having the same darn problem with my glasses!! I need a new pair, these ones are too flimsy to be kid friendly. Actually I just need to go back to contacts, I stopped wearing them almost two years ago and I really do miss them.

I have had these for a long time. It really is time for a new pair.

I am considering getting contacts. Everytime Andrew grabs my glasses and pulls them off, I think about it.

I haven't worn them since the Guns 'N Roses show I went to senior year. So, it's been a while.
